"Hehe... I bet Akasha would be screaming... If she knew her own creation would cause the death of her daughter. I can just imagine her down on her knees weeping and begging me to stop..."
Most people have labeled Ragyo Kiryuin as anime's worst parent, but Gyokuro Shuzen could easily give her a run for her money. She's not as abusive, in the sense she doesn't treat her children like trash for no reason, but she'll still kill or sacrifice them with no hesitation if they get in the way of her kill all humans plan, which having a reason for, really only makes her come off as more of a bitch.
The whole Fairy Tale organization (not be confused with the one from the Fairy Tail manga) is composed of violent psychopaths hate humans for no explained reason, with a few exceptions (including her poor daughter Kahlua who only followers her out of family loyalty). Gyokuro however, wants to kill all humans out spite to losing a guy. She had, about as she can get, to having feelings for the head of the Shuzen family Issa. While she was his wife, his heart belong Akasha Bloodriver, probably because she wasn't a soulless murderer. When Akasha sealed up Alucard a second time, Gyokuro helped create Fairy Tale with the goal wiping out all humans. She doesn't especially hate humans like the rest of Fairy Tale, she's an arrogant Shinso vampire and views almost all life as beneath her. Sharing blood with of her course doesn't make somebody safe from her though, she turned most of her family into mindless ghouls meant to serve as weapons, and her daughter Kalhua into a berserker. Since Akasha isn't around, and she would kick Gyokuro's ass she were, Gyokuro settles for tormenting her daughter Moka whenever possible, like over Tsukune turning into a ghoul and when Moka gets on her knees begging her to help, she baits her into thinking she'll save before telling she'll just use him as weapon like the rest of her family.
Gyokuro is arrogant, but like an evil vampire, her arrogance comes from that she's really damn strong. Tsukune had to risk letting his ghoul side taking over to stand a chance against her, and even then he still wasn't able to kill her. One unique trick, and it's not explained why she's the only vampire who can do this, is sense and identify the energy of an anybody with a very wide radius, and when she removes her power limiter, she copy any technique she see, though it appears limited to yoki. Feel free to interrupt if this works with stuff outside the series.
I'm pitting her with the other contender for anime's worst mother, Medusa Gorgon. Here are my other ideas:
Ragyo Kiryruin (Kill la Kill): Obvious idea, also question whose worse, the parent who will murder her children when they get in her way when she wants to kill all humans to spite a person not around to even to see it, or the parent who wants to kill her children and the rest of humanity for no reason.
Sosuke Aizen (Bleach): Mostly inspired because when I google images for Ragyo and I saw some art shipping her and Aizen. Well she is a troll like he is.
Kain (Legacy Of Kain): Another vampire who sees humans as beneath him. Also question if Gyokuro's pettiness would be one of the few things that might cause any disgust in Kain since he looks down hypocrisy and self-righteousness and Gyokuro has both in spades.
Raziel: Raziel had a phase where he saw all vampires as needing to die, and Gyokuro manages to bigger asshole than even the majority of the Legacy of Kain universe despite it based around most everyone being a jerk.
Alucard (Hellsing): Well Gyokuro is the type of vampire Alucard loves to mutilate.
Alexander Anderson: Vampire and vampire hunter.
Seras Victoria: Why should Alucard and Anderson get all the fun?
Vampire Hunter D: No reminders it's a stomp I already know that.
Dio Brando (Jojo's Bizzare Adventure): Smug vampire who killed her own family vs smug vampire who used to be a human who killed the adopted family who saved him from being left on the streets.
Rachel Alucard (BlazBlue): Another vampire, moving on.
Remelia Scarlet (Touhou): Well she was likely the inspiration for the above character.
Evangeline McDowell (Negima): And I picked a character of the Death Battle community probably hasn't heard of. Basically she's another another expy of Remelia, snarky vampire girl, but unlike the above two she likes to boast how evil she is, despite being chaotic neutral at worst.
Cia (Hyrule Warriors): Another green eye monster driven by her envy, even if it was because she had the good part of her torn out.
Any takers?
Rules For Anybody Selling Commisions
The near year has come so I am up for ordering commissions again. However, because I got scammed, and in one case spent money on art that wasn't to my satisfaction, I am setting up some rules. If anybody who notices I order commissions comes to my account in the future and wants my money, you have to follow these rules, or you get no money; I am not making new contacts for commissions via Discord anymore. If someone comes to me, it has to be through devaintart so I can determine if your account has anything to my liking or if the the art there has a consistent style. I got scammed by someone using the account name juliaclara12 and when I got to see his account, I saw the art had no consistent style making it clear he was using AI image creators to fill out his account, not to mention his clients weren't named. I will not commission any AI generated art. I use Bing Image Creator because it is free and refuse to spend money on AI generated images. All payments are done through
I complete a Dungeons and Dragons Rite of Passage
Or at least, I feel it's a rite of passage. That being to derail a DM's plan and force them to adjust. Continuing from last time with the AANE group, where I was playing as a Sorcadin searching for her missing sister in an evil university, the party sneaked into a building. The DM's intent was for us to sneak onto this ship. Instead, we tried searching for clues, and one of our players got caught in a trap and taken away by guards. I was sneaking around with Invisibility cast, so I followed them to the prison, where the captured player, a Conquest Paladin, frightened all but one of the guards away by casting Fear. That one was going to attack the Paladin, so I broke Invisibility to cast Hold Person. I was hoping that with this guard caught in the Paralysis condition, that would mean he would talk. Except the DM decreed that the guard was drunk off his ass, so I used Lesser Restoration to get him sober. He still wasn't talking; I didn't realize he was stalling until
Not paying for anymore commissions this year
Since I started to post commissioned work I have noticed people coming to me asking me to pay for more commissions. I like the stuff I have gotten, however, I find my inability to say "no" has led to me spending a ton of cash, even when I have managed to negotiate split payments at a reduced cost. So to avoid going down a rabbit hole while overdrawing my bank account, I have decided that I will not order any more new commissions this year or in the near future. To any artists whose work I would probably like, sorry, but you are going to have to wait until I decide I am ready to order any more commissions.
End Of My Trip To England
The day after visiting the tank museum, my mom and I visited the town of Bath, a settlement that dates back to the days of the Roman occupation of England. This town has one of the most visited abbeys in the country, the site of the Roman hot spring baths, and some modern day baths using the hot springs that we didn't use. The following day, we visited the National Portrait Gallery and made a return to one of the sites I visited on my first trip to England, the Imperial War Museum. I paid more attention to the history in the former museum than the pictures. The war museum has a collection of 20th century weapons and military vehicles that could be fit inside the building, including some planes and tanks. One of the most striking sites for me is the WWI display which shows a model Russian soldier with no gun, emphasizing how outclassed the Russians were against the Germans. Two exhibits that weren't there the last time were one on spies and one on The Troubles. The former

I'm thinking of pitting her against Hyness from Kirby Star Allies. As they're both leaders who waned to revive an eldritch abomination, but it backfired on them. Also they have no respect for their undrlings and are batshit crazy.
