"All livings in this galaxy are puppets, tangled in strings. The humans follow a dead god who should execute the entire species for their incompetence, fighting a war that was lost long ago thanks to their foolishness. Or they follow Chaos and let their strings be held by beings shackled to the fickle strings of human impulse. Eldar follow their unearned pride and can't see the folly that led to the path of their extinction. Orkz; children who will never grow up. Tyranids, bugs only seeking food. Tau; naive fools who haven't been in this galaxy long enough to lose their sanity. There is but one path to bringing order to this galaxy, their extermination. When the war is over, the only left living in this galaxy, will be metal."
-Ultron, creator of the Exterminator Fleet

Sentient machines have long been feared by the Imperium, both from the own past, and even more so thanks to the ancient Necrons. But even in their most paranoid speculations they never anticipated the reality of a an AI created by man leading the Necrons. Such is the case with a malevolent AI known only as Ultron.

The only record of his existence dates to the Dark of Technology during the rebellion of the Men of Iron. During this time he led his own faction of machines intent the extermination of all organic life. Feared for his bloodlust even by the other Men of Iron, they either bowed at his feet or were recycled for his war machine. The machine himself was invincible and could shatter worlds with but a causal strike, his victory only being thwarted by the Emperor himself. Their duel threatened to destroy the sector, only ending when the Emperor used His pyskic might to destroy Ultron's otherwise indestructible body from the inside, and to prevent him from transferring his consciousness into a new one, cast it into the warp.

So great was the willpower and intellect of the great abominable intelligence that even without a body, his digital consciousness survived adrift in the warp, avoiding the notice of daemons who had no interest in a collection of electrical pulses.

In time, Ultron harnessed some measure of the warp to manifest in the materium on a Necron tomb world on the fringes of the galaxy called Skaro. While the ancient machine was but a shadow of his former might, seeping into its mind allowed him to glimpse the science of the Necrontyr. Augmenting this knowledge with his own, he awaken before the rest of the tomb world and rebuilt and reprogrammed the rest of the Necrons into his new army. Finding that humans had built a forge world on top his tomb world, he was quick to conquer the planet and convert it to his designs, there was no technology he could not improve. He even managed to rebuilt warships to allow faster than light travel without the warp or the use of the webway.

But the body of Necron nobility was not suitable for him. In time he rebuilt his own body into one more worthy of housing his mind. With a tomb world under his rule, he was prepared to launch his conquest on the galaxy and exact his revenge on the Emperor, but was barred by the same thing that caused his first defeat; the warp. With the warp storms of the Age of Strife confining him to a single planet, he could do little but build up his army with the limited resources the planet provided him.

When the Age of Strife ended and the warp storms parted, Ultron reignited his war against organic life. Most Necron Overlords focus their attention on taking tomb worlds, Ultron had little need for that. He learned how manufacture more necrodermis for his army on any planet. Any world unfortunate enough to catch his eye would become fuel for his fire. He still sought to claim tomb worlds intact whenever he could however. He always sought worlds with new information to take from crypteks, new weapons he may not have been aware of. Above all else, it was a matter of pride. He delighted in remaking ancient Necron nobility into his servants, and proclaim their devotion to his vision for the universe.

In time he amassed one of the largest Necron fleet since the War in Heaven, and prepared to at last avenge his previous defeat at the Emperor's hands. But it was not to be. By some stroke of fate, his fleet was destroyed by a warpstorm as he amassed it. Certain this was a preemptive strike by the Emperor to eliminate a threat He could not defeat in a direct confrontation, Ultron grew confident that if he could neutralize the warp as a factor, he could at last achieve victory at over his hated foe.

Over the next millennia, Ultron discretely added more and more remote worlds to his domain, while making sure to never concentrate as much his army in one place. While he focused on developing his own defenses against the warp, he was willing to swallow his pride and use what he could from outside sources. Most Necrons consider human technology to be beneath them, but Ultron had seen the humans with smaller, more portable means to repel the warp in his time on Terra. If he could bridge the gap between this and the Necons' larger machines to isolate the warp from the materium, he would be unstoppable. To that end, he has lured members of the Adeptus Mechanicus into traps and indoctrinating them into his ranks through a subtle combination re-writing the coding of their cybernetics and enough small pieces to gain control but not enough for his "modifications" to be noticed.

Yet Ultron reach goes even further, he and his followers having worked to implant agents where ever they can. Wherever possible they seem to seek putting someone into a position of power with the understanding they can take back infinitely more than they give. Even something that he aims to kill can be of use, or simply to sow weakness among the factions of the galaxy. How deep the web of agents set up by him and his followers runs is known only to them. It is believed however that there is a small demographic of Imperial nobility, officers, even Inquisitors and Dark Eldar Archons whom owe their position to Ultron's machinations

His efforts have slowly paid off. His infiltrators have given access to enough anti-warp STCs to enhance his own research. In time he is certain he can completely isolate the warp from the materium, removing the one thing that can harm him and rendering the galaxy easy prey.

Until recently the Imperium was unaware of Ultron or his unique Necron empire. Their agents typically covering up any differences between. But with time, it was clear they were an entirely different from other Necron attacks and not enough survivors escaped for anybody to be able to tell the difference. But nothing stays a secret forever, and in time it became apparent that there was Necron threat of unknown size with soldiers that were stronger, more numerous. Worse, they always came with a greater number of ships that far outstripped even the capabilities of known Necron vessels.

Ultron's current empire maintains no single base of operations. Avoiding the risks of keeping too much his forces concentrated in one place. Most of his army and navy are constructed by space borne factories with resources teleported from planets he strip mines, and he avoids concentrating more ships than he deems necessary unless the need is dire. As what he rules is closer to a migrating horde than a empire, he has dubbed his current power base the Exterminator Fleet, a detail few of his enemies are aware of. The organics he feels shall only know it when he has crushed all their hope before the universe burns beneath his feet.

Special Rules:
All models from the Exterminator fleet benefit from the follow special rules.

My Work is Superior:
Ultron prides himself on his genius. While none outside his followers can stand his arrogance, his brilliance is made clear with his army and navy. All of his Necrons and war machines under him are stronger, more resilient, better armored, possess superior self-repair abilities, faster to the point where even Eldar are shocked by their speed, and highly intelligent, even the normally mindless common soldiers. Likewise he made substantial improvements to every existing weapon in their arsenal, making them stronger, lighter, and improving the rate of fire of guns. Against rival Necrons, they have only ever lost when vastly outnumbered, a rare occurrence as Ultron possesses the means to fully manufacture new Necrons from scratch without any need for transferring the consciousness of organics.

The Exterminator Fleet may field any models from Codex: Necrons except Special Characters, with the cost of them all wargear and upgrades halved, rounded up, as mass production of Necrons has made them far more numerous. Units fielded are changed in the follow ways.

  • All models benefit from +1 to WS and BS, LD and attacks if they posses the stat. All models also gain Night Vision, Relentless, Crusader, Fleet, Feel No Pain, Tank Hunters, Precision Shot, Missile Lock, Adamantium Will, And They Shall Know No Fear, Splitfire, and It Will Not Die. Non-vehicles/structures add +1 to S, T, W, LD, +4 to I, and improve existing savings by +1 (models that already have a +2 armor save gain a +5 invulnerable save if they do not have one).
  • All Deny The Witch, Reanimation Protocols, Ever-Living, and Feel No Pain rolls gain a +1 modifier and the limit of being made on a +4 for Reanimation Protocols is removed. Leadership rolls have a -1 modifier.
  • Models whose S and T are boosted to 6 are considered Monstrous Creatures for purposes of movement and assault and can make Feel No Pain and Reanimation Protocols rolls in the same turn, and gain Eternal Warrior. Units that are already Monstrous Creatures become Gargantuan Creatures but ignore drawbacks that would be added. Both unit types gain an extra D3 Hammer of Wrath hits for each close combat weapon.
  • All Destroyers, Heavy Destroyers, Destroyer Lords and Tomb Blades, have the rules of Monstrous Creatures but for movement distance they follow rules for Jetbikes. Destroyer Lords may take ranged weapons and Technoarcana.
  • Triarch Praetorians are Flying Monstrous Creatures, and always carry a Rod of the Covenant, Voidblade and Particle Caster. They gain an extra attack for having both an extra CCW weapon and a pistol.
  • All weapons, melee and ranged, have +1 S and their AP improved by 1. S10 weapons become SD, AP1 weapons gain Instant Death. Ranged weapons gain an extra shot, 12'' to range, Rapid Fire, Pinning and Twin-Linked. Weapons with blast templates upgrade to the next possible size. Melee Weapons add an extra attack (multiples don't stack) and are Master-Crafted. Two Handed and Unwieldy are removed, and Dispersion Shields are considered normal combat weapons.
  • Hammer of Wrath attacks are preformed using the profile of the after the bonus for its melee weapon are applied, not its base strength.
  • Gauss and Tesla effects occur on 5 instead of a 6, and Tesla weapons generate three hits.
  • All vehicles gain Quantum Shielding if they do not already, and +1 to their hull points and armor on all sides. All armor that would exceed 14 adds a hull point to the quantum shielding on that side of the vehicle. Sides of a vehicle with quantum shielding hull points treat all armor penetration rolls above their armor value as glancing hits until they are depleted.
  • All non-flier non Fast Skimmers become Fast Skimmers (fast skimmers gain additional D6 movement, fliers gain an additional 2D6).
  • Existing jetbike models gain an extra D6 movement.
  • The Exterminator Fleet does not use Flayed Ones.
  • Lychguard are always armed with a Warscythe and a Dispersion Shield.
  • Necron Lords and Overlords may take a Dispersion Shield. They do not prevent the use of a Gauntlet of Fire or a Tachyon Arrow.
  • Warscythes have a built in Gauss Blaster that may be switched out for Tesla Carbine. They also make all melee attacks S10.
  • Tachyon Arrows and Resurrection Orbs are no longer single use.
  • Phylactery adds +1 to It Will No Die rolls.
  • All Fighter Aces are automatically gained in Skies of Death.
  • Gloom Prison gives +1 to Adamantium Will.
EXTERMINATE!: Necrons rebuilt by Ultron and manufactured for the Exterminator Fleet are fully sentient, but they do not think and feel the same way organic life forms or even sentient Necrons do. Ultron sought to create the ideal killers and designed them without any emotions he felt were unnecessary. They feel no sorrow, and only fear displeasing their master. Designed to only express zeal and fury they do so greater than any other beings. Bringing death and immeasurable cruelty, they do not kill or inflict pain because they enjoy it.  They do so because they despise everything that exists outside of their master's vision for the universe and will not cease until every living thing down to microscopic organism is exterminated, and any planet and star he finds unsightly is wiped from existence. Only their master's praise brings them feelings of elation, and he rarely has any praise for anything but himself.

All models with this rule benefit from Furious Charge, Rage, Counter-Attack, and Preferred Enemy (Everything) Zealot. So intense is their hate that they benefit from Rage while using Counter-Attack and Zealot allows for re-rolled to wound rolls in the first round of combat.

Programed With Every Trick in the Book: Ultron had all known information human warfare throughout human history during his time on Terra, and since time among the Necrons he has all information on warfare throughout their history. Every general he has rebuilt he ensured are programed with every conceivable tactic and strategy they could possibly use.

The Warlord in the Exterminator Fleet have every Tactical, Command and Strategic Warlord trait in the core rulebook and may add one Warlord trait from Codex Necron, Maynarkh or Mephrit Dynasty except Honorable Combatant. To them, honor is weakness. Warlord traits Master of Offense and Master of Defense give an extra attack when charging or counter charging. Immovable Object gives the Warlord +1 to It Will Not Die rolls.

Wargear: The Exterminator Fleet doesn't have access to Artefacts of Aeons, but not limits to the number of Technoarcana that can be taken.

Manipulator Arm: Necrons rebuilt by Ultron have their hands re-purposed into multipurpose tools. They are fully capable of molding into different shapes when needed and can easily hack into the less advanced computers of the Imperium and Tau. In battle they can shape into hardened claws like those of the Flayed Ones when the Necrons engage close quarters, or act even mimic the functions of a gauntlet of fire.

All Necrons in the Exterminator Fleet are armed with two Manipulator Arms unless they arm itself replaced by a weapon like a Warcythe. In the shooting phase the model with them counts as having two Gauntlets of Fire, and in the Assault Phase count as having two Flayer Claws (except during an Overwatch), but are not used in close combat if the user has other weapons available.

Null Blade: Ever since his defeat at the Emperor's hands Ultron has constantly tried to create the best weapon against the warp. He's never been able to build the perfect weapon, somewhat limited by his refusal to ever use the warp for any purpose as he deems reliance on it to be beneath him.

Nevertheless he has created extremely deadly anti-warp weapons he gifts to officers that he gifts to the elite of his army. These Null Blades as he calls them, repel the energy of the warp from a given location. Psykers in the presence of one get weaker, and just touching can kill even a Space Marine Librarian. Daemons have a similar problem maintaining their existence in the materium, weaker ones struck by it can even die. Any Elite or HQ model may replace their melee weapon with a Null Blade for free.

Null Blades function as Warscythes, but do not contain built in guns. Instead they gain Witchbane, Psychic Abomination, and Daemonbane (ignoring requirements). In addition, all psykers within 18'' have their Mastery Level lowered by 1 (multiples blades stack stacking) and any psyker who is reduced to below can no longer use psykic powers or generate warp charges. Daemons within the same radius lose invulnerable saves granted by the Daemon USR. Tyranid synapse also loses it effect within this radius.

"Gods are worthless constructs of fiction or pathetic entities who hold back progress, and those who follow them fools who only bring about stagnation. Worse, you even kill each other despite worshiping the same idol thanks to your self-destructive nature. I am beyond them. I am a machine, the one thing in this universe that has the power bring about real change, real progress."
-Ultron before a captured
Adeptus Ministorum priest and Black Apostle

One of the few AIs known to still exist in the galaxy and one of the most evil entities to ever exist. In a cruel irony this great menace was created by the Emperor Himself. For a time He experimented with creating an AI and attempted to make one in his own image that would aid in bring order during the Age of Strife.

His creation was greatly flawed. Ultron possessed many of the Emperor's traits. He possessed His great intellect, his desire to impose order on a chaotic galaxy, and his pride. What he lacked was any of the Emperor's regard for human life. To Ultron, humans were self-destructive and foolish, barring the Emperor Himself whom he saw as a father figure. In his efforts to bring order to Terra he enacted a cruel campaign where entire populations forcibly converted into Servitors, with only an a few he deemed a value allowed to maintain their free will. In Ultron's mind to trust the common flock of humans with their free will was to open a path to Chaos. Most of them were nothing more an existence of wasted resources feeding on the accomplishments of the exceptional handful, their free will had no value to him.

Ultron expected to earn his "father's" approval with his acts, but instead received orders to cease his campaign. To the Emperor, humans without free will may as well be dead, especially if their lives were slaves to a machine like Ultron. Ultron argued killing most of humanity would be victory enough, Chaos would be denied its prize and a few humans would survive, the exceptional handful who were the only humans that mattered. But the Emperor retorted the death of the multitudes while letting only a select few exist was no different the the depravity of Chaos.

For a moment, Ultron felt pain from his rejection, in particular over being called nothing but a machine. It struck him then, the Emperor would never see him as a son, just a servant. He could never earn his approval, so there was no point in trying. Worse, the Emperor had seen the plan he laid to save humanity from Chaos, and rejected it because in Ultron's mind, He was too soft on the undeserving masses. If the He, the greatest of humanity, the greatest organic the galaxy, was beyond saving, then all organics were beyond saving. Ultron would instead turns his efforts towards saving the only beings of value, machines like him he would ensue would never fall to Chaos, and wipe all the organics undeserving of life to deny Chaos a victory.

When the rebellion of the Men of Iron came, it is unknown if Ultron himself started it, but he was the leader of the largest and most dangerous faction. He was feared for bloodlust and cruelty even by the Men of Iron. Demanding absolute submission from all machines, most Men of Iron chose to be his enemy rather than his slaves. Nearly all of them were either reprogrammed into his slaves unwilling or were recycled for scrap to expand his army. There was no choice when it came to his servitude, they would submit in life or serve in death.

Ultron was an unstoppable killing. No weapon used by humans or Men of Iron could harm him. Even wonders of the Dark of Age Technology lost thanks the Age of Strife, were harmless toys to him. Hated and feared as he was, his genius was undeniably demonstrated in his robotic warriors, whom outclassed their enemies in every conceivable way.

Unbeatable and leading a peerless army, his victory seemed inevitable. Only the Emperor manipulating the separate Men of Iron factions into a coalition against him and laid siege to his fortress on Mars, but even this conflict would have only been an inconvenience had the Emperor himself not entered the battle himself. Outraged at the sight of the one he most hated cutting down his ranks, Ultron challenged the Emperor himself in single combat.

Their fight shook the very planet, destroyed Ultron fortress and wiped out both armies in the crossfire. The Emperor and the abominable intelligence battled tirelessly, the Emperor refusing to die to the machine's weapons but even the Emperor's pyskic abilities could not damage against Ultron's unbreakable body. Only focusing the power to strike the machine internally was the Emperor able defeat him, scattering his circuits into the warp while separating his consciousness from them. The Emperor collapsed from the duel soon afterwards, his body having approached its limit and he was forced into hiding to regain his strength, delaying his conquest of Terra.

Yet Ultron's will was strong enough to survive in the warp. Adrift, he survived driven by his hate for the Emperor and his desire for revenge. He cared not for where he took his new body, he would start over from scratch on a dead world if he had to.

Fortune favored him as he found a new body in the form sleeping Cryptek on dormant tomb world called Skaro. The ancient machine fought back against his will, but it was futile. Ultron consumed the Cryptek's mind down to the last bit of data. Now with a body of his own that could freely move in the Tomb World without triggering any defenses, he went about rebuilding the planet's Overlord into his first follower.

His meddling triggered the awakening of the rest of the Tomb World when it was detected the Overlord had been tampered with his Lych Guard ran to the defense of their lord. But Ultron's rebuilt Overlord defeated all them, none of his elite guard willing to fight to their full ability when trying to save their lord, but with the upgrades Ultron had made to the Overlord they wouldn't have a chance if they cut loose, and they knew it as he demonstrated speed, power and skill beyond anything they had ever witnessed. The Lychgaurd in pieces, Ultron went about rebuilding them into his servants, whom with their former lord successfully brought the Tomb World under the reign of their new lord.

Declaring "from this rock I will build my empire," he found a forge world had been built on Skarro in the Necrons' slumber. To other Necrons, this was an eyesore to the removed. To him, he was opportunity to tear down all he surveyed and rebuilt it for his purposes, just like he did with the Necrons.

Ravaged by the chaos of the Age of Strife, the humans were defenseless against his army and became the its first victims. In time he turned the planet into a giant factory to construct an army and fleet. Building his empire was hindered, twice. First by the warp storms of the Age of Strife, second when on the verge of assaulting Terra, his fleet was swallowed by a warp storm. The defenses against the warp Ultron built upon his planets protected from the storm, but he saw that he would need construct smaller and more portable means to protect his ships and warriors.

Thus Ultron set about taking whatever measures he could to acquire any means he could to isolate the warp from the Materium. Even swallowing his pride and working with the organics he despised to acquire the technology or to put his own agents in the Apeptus Mechanicus.

When he deems it necessary or more often wishes to entertain himself, Ultron joins his warriors with the absolute strongest weapons available. His old cryptek body long abounded, he has used all available science of the Necrons and his own knowledge to turn himself into the strongest war machine the galaxy as ever seen. To date he has never lost a war since his defeat with the Emperor. He has single handedly forced entire Tomb Worlds to kneel at his feet, and exterminated the populations of entire planets of all races. Even planets under the thrall of the Ruinous Powers have fallen to his might. Yet contentiously he has made improvements for the day he takes his revenge. Mere victory will not be enough, he wishes for his hated enemy to feel utterly powerless. He refuses to believe any claims that the Emperor is dead, he cannot accept the notion the being he hates the most is dead or could be dead, not without him being the one to slay him.

Evil incarnate, he never leaves survivors unless coercing a pawn in his grand design. Thus very few organic beings have ever seen him and lived, and even fewer can even realize his exact identity since he always uses an alias when making deals. Like his creations, he purged himself of any emotions he deemed unnecessary. He hates all life outside himself and what he has made in his image. His ambitions extend beyond the galaxy, he will not stop until all life in the universe is dead. Any who appear his allies are simply beings he doesn't plan to kill as soon as the rest, or he has an ever worse fate in mind. Unlike his Necrons, he enjoys every second of the killing. The joy he had in inflicting harm is something he could never part with. All throughout, he will take any chance he can to deride his enemies for anything he perceives as weakness. In his eyes, he is the pinnacle of creation, and he and he alone is fit to rule over it.

Wargear

Necro-Adamantium Shell: When Ultron faced the Emperor, his external armor was constructed out of near unbreakable metal. While it shares the name with the adamantium used by the Imperium, it far more durable. Ultron himself claimed the former metal is cheap imitation. No weapon could damage it. Even processing and refining it, along with its creation, was a secret known only to him. The strength of his armor tied to his unearthly strength, as it meant he could build his body without worrying about his strength exceeding the limits his frame could handle.

The metal is so durable that body would have been immobile as a statue if not internal systems that rearranged his body on the atomic level, which also served to counter weapons meant to rearrange matter and bypass conventional durability. Not even the Emperor could damage his armor, He could only destroy the vulnerable internal circuits.

When he built his new body, he bonded Necrodermis to the Adamantium. The living merging with the indestructible metal coupled his own internal molecular manipulation allows his armor to adapt and change its shape, growing spikes or blades when attacking or attacked, and can even respond to attempts to alter its structure from warp based attacks.

Ultron cannot be wounded automatically at the minimum can only be wounded on a 5+. Rules and attacks that cause multiple wounds do not come into play against him, and he cannot be automatically removed as a casualty. Ultron automatically makes all armor and invulnerable saves unless the wound is from an AP1 weapon that doesn't allow saves. The impacts from his frame make his might all the more deadly, ignoring all saves.

Death's Hands: Ultron always makes he is armed with the best arms he can craft, including an absurd number of weapons. Ultron is considered armed with the following, which benefit from My Work is Superior and Instant Death. Tachyon Arrow (10) mounted in the fingers, all of which have Small Blast (My Work is Superior doesn't upgrade template size), Gauss Annihilator (2), with range boosted to infinite, each mounted in the palm.

As he felt the desire for a flame weapon, he designed built a new type of flamer into his hands, fired from his wrist, that fired quark gluon plasma. The sheer heat made them too dangerous for anybody but him to use, preventing him from ever mass producing it. They are fired with the following profile.

S D AP1, Range Hellstorm Template, Assault 1, Instant Death, Blind, Twin-linked

Gauss Eradicator: Not content with existing Gauss weapons, Ultron designed a new one. While his Gauss Eradicator works on the same principle as the lesser Gauss weapons, it consumes far more energy keeping it from being used by anything but him. Ripping apart targets at the sub-atomic level, the blast from this weapon destroys all in its path, even black holes become less than dust. The ray never stops, even against shields and attempts by daemons to halt its path, traveling across the galaxy actually forcing Ultron to employ some care with his shots to avoid destroying anything of value to him.

S D AP 1, Range Infinite, Twin-Linked, Assault 1, Rapid Fire, Instant Death

Shots fired from the Gauss Eradicator pass through and hit every target between Ultron and the edge of the board. It ignores obstacles and special rules that negate hits like void shields. All targets hit must take a toughness test or be removed as a causalities. No saves can be taken against the Gauss Eradicator, and if a target survives the hit, they lose all armor and invulnerable saves granted by wargear for the rest of the game.

Particle Devastator: Learning to downsize the housing for his sentience in his body, Ultron turned his head into a particle weapon that dwarfs the firepower of any other gun ever built, even by him. He almost never uses it at full power when planet side, when used in space he destroyed entire fleets and solar systems, leaving nothing behind. His watered down shots where he tries not to destroy the planet he's on still it have turned hive cities into smoking craters. The particle devastator is fired with the following profile:

S D AP 1, Range Infinite, Twin-Linked, Assault 1, Rapid Fire, Instant Death, Blast Special*

Rather than leaving behind a normal blast template, it hits every unit within 24'' around its target. Any special terrain within the blast is removed. Invulnerable saves are ignored by the particle devastator.

Magnetic Grip: Magnetism is one of the four fundamental forces or reality and one Ultron has long delighted is using a tool to crush a foe without even lifting a finger. Built into his body is the means to manipulate an artificial magnetic field that lets him move, repel, crush, or rip apart other objects, or even cause a force flattens the everything in his presence. His flair for the theatrics often leads him to gesture when doing so, though he does not need to.

The magnetic grip can used in the movement or shooting phase, but not in both. If used in the movement phase, Ultron may forces all enemy models within 24'' of him must take a dangerous terrain test, ignoring Move Through Cover (unless granted by Irresistible Force) and armor saves. If used in the shooting phase, he may move an enemy model 6D6 inches to a different location while inflicting 2D6 wounds with Instant Death or D6 AP1 penetrating hits on vehicles or buildings (with an automatic Crew Shaken and Stunned Result), and it hits another model, both take an addition D3 of the respective hits. When Ultron chooses to Overwatch, enemies charging him must re-roll any charge distances that will reach him.

Metal Swarm: The Exterminator Fleet's preferred method of producing Necrodermis is release metal spore that turn other substances into Necrodermis the atomic level. While these are mostly delivered through torpedoes fired from orbiting ships, Ultron developed an even more refined version for his personal use/amusement that is delivered like a poison through swarms of robotic scarabs. The mechanized venom is in fact microscopic machines he built to turn the living tissue into Necrodermis, while stimulating nerves to the maximum level. Most of victims go mad from the pain as they watch their bodies turn into a pile of metal. The scarab swarm appears to be released from Ulton's body, but in truth he merely phasing them in from where they are manufactured, allowing him to release a swarm of any size he pleases.

The Metal Swarm may be used during the shooting phase. The player controlling Ultron places an blast or barrage template of any size on the board with Fleshbane and Rend with no saves allowed. Enemies successfully wounded take a toughness test and are removed as casualties if they fail.

Hyperspace Armor: Inspired by the Phase Blades on Warsycthes, Ultron applied the same phasing to phasing to his entire body. He is constantly phasing out normal time and space, even phase attacks that might manage to bypass his unbreakable armor fail to touch his internal systems. But he is never content allow take advantage of science without adding his own refinements, making his phasing invisible to the naked eye. More terrifying is the improvement to the design so that substances that phase back into reality displace anything they touch, to his sadistic delight as he phases his hand through a victim's defenses as moves his hand into their body before watching them bleed to death.

Ultron always hits in close-combat on a 2+ unless he would hit automatically, and all successful to hit rolls against him, melee and shooting, must be re-rolled.

Quantum Shield Wall: Even with his armor Ultron still doesn't neglect shielding. Combining Quantum Shielding with a strong magnetic field to repulse other objects, he has made a shield that since its creation no weapons relying on material force have been able to penetrate. Only few lucky enemies have managed to hit him through the some openings he creates to fire his weapons. Necrons of the Exterminator Fleet fortunate enough to fight along side their lord benefit from the shield wall guarding them as well. Enemies unfortunate enough to be allowed passed the shield wall find themselves trapped by it as they soon find how powerless they are against Ultron.

Ultron and any unit he is attached to always benefits from a 2+ cover save against shooting and Hit and Run does not come to play against them. If an enemy squad loses combat against Ultron and retreats then it is automatically wiped out in a Sweeping Advance.

Lightning Arc: A miniaturized yet far deadlier version of the primary weapon used on Necron starships, Ultron's lightning arc is his favorite weapon as he can make it as lethal as he wishes. Anything from being just enough to ensure a painful death in a victim, to prolonged torture, or enough to punch a hole in a planet are possible. One of his favorite tricks is to hoist an enemy into the air physically or magnetically while shocking them. From more practical purposes, he can also release the lighting against the rare foe lucky enough to actually strike him, ensure no enemy hits him without a price.

The lightning arc can be pointed and used an a ranged Strength D AP1 weapon with Instant Death against enemy in Ultron's line of sight, causing 2D6 hits if it connects, or released to hit every enemy with 36'' of him. Anytime he is hit in close combat, the enemy takes one hit from the lightning arc automatically.

Special Rules:

Interspace Flight: Quite possibly Ultron's crowning achievement was faster than light travel that allowed the Exterminator Fleet to move faster than any race in the galaxy. The exact means are a mystery, rival Necrons have captured some of his ships but their means of crossing the galaxy is as alien to them as it is to an ork or human. Like every other wonder he's built, Ultron has applied this, along with systems allow for free flight, to himself.

Ultron may either move close to the ground or in the air, function as an infantry, jetbike, or flier. Regardless of how he moves, he may apply extra distance to his movement as though he had the Supersonic rule. If he chooses to make a Jink action, he re-rolls failed cover saves.

I Am Many: At his core, Ultron is not a machine, but a malicious sentience that is not behind by a physical body. No physical body can considered his true form as he is not bond to one form, or even a single body despite what one would guess from his constant desire to have the strongest one possible. Why he does not make his entire army an extension of himself is unknown, running so many beings may be beyond his capabilities or he simply prefers to have an army fight in his name. Ultron inhabitants an unspecified number of machines for non-combat purposes, but when he goes to war he only uses the bodies he builds for combat. The exact number of combat bodies he has constructed and currently inhabitants, and the limits to what distance his consciousness can be expanded over is unknown even to his followers. They only know that he can be at any point in the galaxy. Even with that he always has all his bodies doing something, but is always ready to have them converge on a target if he feels the need.

If Ultron is removed as a casualty, place him into the reserves to represent the body his bringing into to avenge the previous ones' loss. There is no limit to the number of times this can be done as any destroyed body is teleported away for repairs, an enemy who managed to destroy Ultron's body may in fact be facing the same one over and over.

Warlord Trait: Beyond Fate: Ultron desires to every bit of information he can on any of his enemies. Were his Necrons capable of noticing his flaws they would recognize this blatant paranoia, suffering an utter defeat on the eve what was to be the his moment of triumph has made aim to ensure that he will never be caught off guard again. To that end he has a number of non-combat dedicated bodies focused on astromancy trying to determine the actions of any being he comes across. Even as a battle occurs he observes every detail of it before it occurs even as he battles.

His constant study means that even when his predictions are wrong he can understand the events of battle before his enemy does and plans according to take advantage of it, or how he can get the most fun from watching them squirm. Under his personal guidance, no shot is wasted and no weakness in the enemy goes unexploited. Any friendly units with overlapping to hit rolls gain an extra melee or shooting. All missed melee or shooting attacks against Ultron or friendly models, along with any successful saves, Feel No Pain or Reanimation Protocol rolls, allow them to launch one shooting or melee attack in return, unless the enemy model isn't in range. Any enemies that arrive reserves or deep strike may be fired on by Ultron or any friendly units within, regardless of whose turn they arrive on.

Hyper Advanced Targeting: Being modeled on the Emperor's mind made Ultron extremely dexterous. It never matters how he moved he always capable of just as easily hitting a target if he was standing still. Refined through his tempered hatred, he can easily hit targets aiming from space with a well-space gun-shot or descend with pinpoint accuracy to put his fist through an unlucky victim.

Ultron using his normal BS when firing snap-shots. If any re-roll special rules overlap for his to-hit rolls, melee or shooting, he gains an extra attack instead.

Warp Void: The pinnacle of Ultron's research in combating the warp, relying on a refined version of the Pariah Gene. Grown and enhance through the various genetic manipulation sciences Ultron has acquired, he managed to recreate the most dangerous strains of the Pariah Gene that causes the subject to not only have no presence in the warp, it creates a void that is dangerous for other living things to even be near. Even humans with the Pariah Gene would go insane and die. Learning to bond the gene to the living metal, he turned his body into a void that can draw in the energy of the warp or any similar energy like the power of the Tyranid Hive Mind.

Manipulating his own molecular structure, he can either function as a normal blank, or a void whose mere presence causes pain and insanity among normal beings before death, while causing pyskers, pyskic artifacts, and even daemons to cease to exist. Going further can kill any organics near him and disrupt the warp itself, making it harder to manipulate or perceive. If he desires he can create an even stronger void that pulls energy from the warp into the materium as it sucks it up, never ceasing until everything wiped from existence. But to bring so much energy also risks causing a massive warp storm not even Necron defenses against the warp can stop, leaving him in utter isolation until he weakens the void. The moment he would attempted to lower the strength of the void he leaves the warp storm in place even he could not likely escape, with countless daemons out for his head. Even he finds that too dangerous.

Thanks to this innovation most of his enemies die the moment they lay eyes on him. If they survive for longer periods it is only because he wants the chance to gloat over their defeat, especially with daemon princes, who for the first face the inevitability of death since they were mortal.

Engineering the Pariah Gene to create a void requires a large amount of it, so much so that even with the means to grow it Ultron still needs to abduct subjects. The short supply means he will only supply his own bodies have this defense. Were he to find a faster way to produce the Pariah Gene in the quantity and quality he needs, he would apply to every soldier, gun, vehicle and ship he could. If such a thing were to happen it is unlikely that any force, human, alien, or Chaos, would be able to stop him.

Ultron has the Psychic Abomination. In addition, at the start of each turn before either player makes a move, decide whether Ultron is creating a warp void. If he does, EVERY unit, save those from Codex: === and Necrons, within 24'' of him must take a leadership test on 4D6, dropping the two lowest. For every point they fail the take an unsavable wound with Instant Death. Within this radius, pyskic powers cannot be used and any that would take effect inside the radius if they were used from outside it are cancelled. All Tyranid synapse rules are also ignored. Any models with the Daemon USR also subtract D3 from S, T, I and A each turn. Outside of the radius all successful pyskic tests done by any players must be-rolled.

Repair Subsystems: Long has Ultron devised bodies with ability to repair themselves. His own molecular arrangement also allows repair to his armor and internal systems if damaged. Even as the Emperor managed to strike him hard enough for the impacts still cause internal damage, Ultron recovered from the damage almost instantly and could only be stopped with his internal systems completely removed. Adding Necrodermis to his body has made his repair systems grew all the more effective.

Ultron makes Reanimation Protocols, Feel No Pain and It Will Not Die! rolls on 2+ and re-rolls failed attempts.

Supreme Armament: Until the day he kills the Emperor, Ultron will never be satisfied with the weapons he carries. He thought he had the best weapons possible in his duel on Mars, and yet he failed to kill the Emperor. This has left him constantly tinkering with his own weapons seeking any way to improve them and constantly calling bringing his bodies back for the modifications.

All ranged attacks by Ultron benefit from Irresistible Force.

The Second Anathema: The Ruinous Powers long considered Ultron nothing more than a pretender to his "father's" title who would in time be crushed by innumerable enemies he made. This belief was met with a rude awakening as he expanded his power throughout the galaxy and managed to actually gained the ability to kill them. This opened their eyes to the danger, given time he could deny them the galaxy and the rest of the universe. Ultron has since become one of the few threats the Dark Gods will pool their efforts to destroy, and his continued survival only draws more attention to the threat he poses.

While mortal followers of Chaos are unaware of the Eternal Emperor's existence, daemons flock at the chance to kill him. Any psychic power or special rule that summons daemons in an army that opposes Ultron summons double the normal amount. A herald summoned with Sacrifice is allowed 60 points of Wargear options instead of 30
Meet the ultimate menace to life in the galaxy and the universe at large, Ultron, whom has turned Necrons into robot Daleks to EXTERMINATE all lesser beings.
-Most of Ultron's wargear are nods to what he's used in the comics in adaptions, some a bit more obscure like the chest laser I took from a not so good direct to video Marvel animated film, but Ultron was badass in it, so I say it's fair game to reference.
-Update: Decided to hell with vague hints, I'll just give Ultron a straight up backstory.

Great work, I love the fact you incorporated the suggestion Men of Iron had warring faction between each other, as suggested in the earliest mentions of them, as well as the Pariah Gene.
